- Log into Shopify
- Under the menu bar located on the left hand side of the screen, go to "Products"
- On the top right hand side of the page, there is a green button that says "Add Product"
- You will fill in the "Title", "Description", upload a picture & "Pricing"
- Under "Inventory" You will determine whether the product will ship ground or freight. Most cases it will ship ground so you will select "Shipping Small Items" under "Inventory will be stocked at:"
- You will unselect "Track Quantity"
- Underneath that you will select "This product has a SKU or Barcode" You will add the SKU number of the product.
- Under "Shipping" You can enter an apporximate shipping weight.
- If the product that you are adding has different variants, meaning it comes in different sizes, colors, etc. You will use this section. If not, you can dismiss this.
- Once you add the varients, you will scroll to the right side of the bar that appears under the variant to add the SKU number for each product. You will want to use the same SKU under "SKU" & "Barcode"
- Once you have all of this filled out, you will scroll towards the top of the page an on the right side, you will see "Product Organization"
- Under "Product Category" you will select "Home & Garden"
- Under Product Type you will select the best fit for the product you are adding.
- "Under Vendor" you will select "Garagecabinets.com
- Under "Collections" you will also select the best fit for the product you are adding.
- Under "tags" you will select the appropriate tag. If you product qualifies for the same discount as the cabinets, you will tag it as "off-cabs" If the product does not qualify for any discounts and the final price is what you entered, you will select "off-swacc"
- Once you have filled all of the information, you can save it.
