Steps to take when a product in Shopify is 'Out of Stock'

Is there is slatwall or slatwall accessories that is out of stock in our hardware, please make sure you do the following to take it off of or site.

1. In Shopify, go to the "products" and search the name of the product that is out of stock.
2. When you are on the page of the product listing, change the SKU number. You will add a "$" before the SKU number. This will take it off of the design tool.
3. Modify inventory in Shopify so this item shows out of stock instead of deleting the item.
4. You will do this by clicking on "Track quanitity"
5. You will enter a negative number under "available" and you will enter the number 0 under "On hand".
6. Save changes and you are done.
